Kerava is located north of Helsinki in a dynamic industrial and logistics environment. In 2022, a 20 MW / 20 MWh storage facility was built here, which actively participates in the Finnish balancing energy market. The facility could theoretically supply several thousand households with electricity in the short term and also serves as a highly flexible tool for stabilizing an increasingly renewable energy system. Kerava marks the beginning of a Nordic platform strategy and combines local market knowledge with international infrastructure expertise.
