Mattila adds another 20 MW / 21.5 MWh to the cluster in Mäntsälä, significantly strengthening its regional system relevance. The plant is dimensioned to provide electricity for several thousand households during peak periods. At the same time, it significantly increases the network's response speed in the event of frequency deviations. Mattila stands for the consistent replication of a proven development model with the aim of establishing a robust, diversified, and sustainable storage platform in Europe.
